Hadid and the former One Direction star welcomed their daughter Khai in September 2020 after dating on and off since 2016. The supermodel first confirmed she was expecting a child with the former One Direction singer during an April 2020 interview with Jimmy Fallon.
Although Hadid and Malik split in October 2021 following an alleged altercation with Hadid’s mother, Yolanda, the former couple have fallen naturally into their roles as parents. Hadid told Vogue that she and the “It’s You” singer have entered a phase in their relationship filled with “love, and a feeling of camaraderie,” adding that they’re now accepting the highs and lows that come with co-parenting in their very public lifestyle.
